The collection of materials deposited at the recycling points is carried out according to independent circuits for each type of material, using specific vehicles equipped with container lifting devices.
The network of collection points consists of approximately 6,000 recycling points, using 60 collection vehicles. The currently established circuits are organized sustainably, requiring continuous and constant optimization work. This collection takes place from Monday to Friday, 24 hours a day.
What are Recycling Bins?
Recycling Bins are a set of three containers of different colors, intended to separately receive materials that can be recycled and recovered. RESINORTE has strategically distributed recycling points throughout its intervention area to ensure coverage for the entire population.
The correct use of recycling points is a fundamental starting point. These materials are collected by RESINORTE and sent to the Sorting Center, where they will be separated according to their characteristics to then be sent to recycling industries.
What to put in the recycling bins?
Green Recycling Bin: Glass (Packaging) – Bottles, jars and containers;
Blue Recycling Bin: Paper and Cardboard – Cardboard packaging and rolls, paper, newspapers, brochures and magazines;
Yellow Recycling Bin: Plastic and Metal (Packaging) – Bottles, jugs, beverage cartons, plastic packaging, beverage and canned goods cans, and plastic bags.
