ECO CENTERS COLLECTION
Eco Centers Collection

The Eco Center is a large park designed for the separate reception and storage of waste for subsequent treatment and recycling.

In addition to receiving the same materials as the Recycling Points, it is primarily intended for receiving larger quantities and sizes of waste and/or waste with characteristics that do not allow its disposal in the selective collection equipment installed on the street.

Where are the Eco Centers located?

Resinorte has 19 eco centers in the municipalities of Baião, Boticas, Cabeceiras de Basto, Celorico de Basto, Chaves, Cinfães, Fafe, Guimarães, Lamego (Bigorne), Moimenta da Beira, Montalegre, Santo Tirso, São João da Pesqueira, Trofa, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Vila Real and Vizela.

Who can use the Eco Centers?

All residents within the RESINORTE concession area can use the Eco Centers free of charge and deposit their urban waste. For businesses, this delivery is limited to recyclable waste only. At every recycling center, there is a staff member available to assist any citizen who wishes to selectively dispose of their waste.
